How did you discover Montessori? I discovered Montessori while I was looking for a school for my 3 year old son. My son, Nico, attended Canton Montessori School in Ohio, the Montessori Center of Jackson In Tennessee and then The Fayetteville Montessori in North Carolina.

Why do you love being a Montessori teacher? I love being a Montessori teacher because I strongly believe it takes a village to raise a child. I really enjoy partnering with the parents to support, help, and love their child develop into extraordinary citizens of our world. Montessori is the only method to do just that. Montessori is magical.

What about WSM attracted you to the school? The environments attracted me to WSM. In my 17 years of being a Montessori teacher, I feel the WSM classroom and patio/garden environments are a dream. They provide pure joy to all involved: teachers and children.

What are your credentials?

• Certified primary Montessori teacher, AMS.

• Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Spanish.

• Worked in corporate America as an international operations controller in manufacturing operations domestically and internationally.
