How did you discover Montessori? My college roommate called me up and told me about a job opportunity. This job opportunity introduced me to the Montessori Method. I immediately connected to the Montessori philosophy of community, child self-efficacy, service, and global-mindedness.
What drew you to the role of Director of Admissions? As a lifelong learner I decided to pursue a higher level of education. I turned to the School of Education at UNC Greensboro where I set my sights on obtaining a Master’s degree in an area I am passionate about, School Administration. I enjoy educating parents about Montessori and our school community through the lens of admissions. I can help create opportunities for our community to blossom under the umbrella of a Montessori education.
What about WSM attracted you to the school? Initially, word-of-mouth. I heard about the amazing partnership between WSM and their families. Now, I get to experience this partnership firsthand.
