How did you discover Montessori?  I was introduced to Montessori through my mom, who also works as a Montessori Guide. Hearing about her experiences inspired me to explore Montessori for myself and become part of the same supportive community that makes her feel valued and cared for.

Why do you love being a Montessori Guide? I love getting to helping children build confidence, develop life skills, and gain independence. Getting to see the progress of so many children is a beautiful thing, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch them grow into confident, capable individuals.

What about WSM attracted you to the school? I was drawn to WSM because of its welcoming community, the schools values, and the commitment to supporting both the children and staff.

What are your credentials? 

• Currently finishing my Bachelor’s in Nutrition at Appalachian State University. 

• WSM Summer Ventures Assistant Guide for two years. 

• College coursework in Child Development.
