How did you discover Montessori? I was born and raised in Italy, so it was fairly easy to be aware of the figure of Maria Montessori. However, it was not until college, when I found myself analyzing the design of a few Montessori schools, that I realized how in the classroom the child has the opportunity of moving and exploring in a carefully planned and dedicated environment.

Why do you love being a Montessori guide? ​ I love being a Montessori guide for the light it sheds on each child’s individuality, the deep connection with the outdoors, and above all, I have loved seeing my own children flourish here.

What are your credentials? I earned a degree in Architectural Design from the IUAV University of Venice, in Italy, then worked in the field for a few years. I am more than happy to bring some of my experiences here at WSM.
