How did you discover Montessori? I discovered Montessori through a friend.

Why do you love being part of the Montessori community? I appreciate that the Montessori philosophy meets the academic, social-emotional, and physical needs of a diverse group of learners.

What about WSM attracted you to the school? When I came to do an observation, I was struck by the warmth and calm of the environment. Coming from a traditional education background, I was intrigued by the child-directed learning and the JOY of the children as they went about their work.

• AMI Montessori Primary Assistant Certification

• BA in Speech and Hearing Sciences

• MA in Speech-Language Pathology from Ohio State University.

• ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist.

• Associate Level training in Orton-Gillingham, a multisensory, structured approach to reading instruction.
