“You will always miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
How did you discover Montessori? I came to WSM as a temporary receptionist in January of 2020 and immediately fell in love.
Why do you love being a part of the Winston-Salem Montessori community? I love being a part of the WSM Community because it is like one big family. From the Faculty and Staff to the families, everyone feels like a family.
What about WSM attracted you to the school? I was placed here, originally, by an agency, so I came not knowing much at all about WSM, or Montessori. But, I have been in Early Childhood Education most of my career, so I was excited to see what the Montessori environment was like. It was within minutes of the school day starting that I commented on how peaceful the classrooms were. Right away I wished I had been here my entire teaching career, I may have lasted longer in the classroom.
