How did you discover Montessori? 

As a science educator for the last 23 years, I have been fortunate to have Montessori trained mentors who have inspired me to incorporate Montessori techniques into my practice including curriculum design. 

Why do you love being on the WSM Board? 

The collective passion for pedagogy!

What about WSM attracted you to the school? 

The approach to enacting Montessori practices and commitment to honoring the needs of all community members including parents, students and faculty made me want to be an active contributor to this impressive institution of learning. 

How are you connected to WSM?

I have been an admirer for years who have had the joy of teaching former WSM students and collaborating with educators from WSM. 

What is a fun fact/interest/hobby you’d like to share? 

When I am not building curricular resources, I can be found on a mountain bike trail or working on perfecting a new recipe!
