How did you discover Montessori? After finishing my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education I began working in the public education system and quickly discovered that this was not the educational model I wanted to teach in. After some research I found Montessori and began working in a small school where they guided me through my first Montessori credential. I had found my place and have been in a Montessori environment ever since.

Why do you love being a Montessori Guide? I love guiding the whole child in their development and guiding them through opportunities that will support their future as an adult. 

What about WSM attracted you to the school? We were planning to move to NC and I began searching for Montessori in the Winston-Salem area. I was looking for a true Montessori environment to support my own children's development and ended up finding a welcoming community for our whole family.
