How did you discover Montessori? I first discovered Montessori while studying child development at Appalachian State.

Why do you love being a Montessori teacher? One of my favorite things about being a Montessori assistant is watching the children develop from the beginning of the year to the end. I also love being able to contribute to a community and being in an environment which encourages my own further learning.

What about WSM attracted you to the school? After several years working with children in child care settings, I was looking for some place different that better aligned with my values and understanding of the child. WSM was the place!
