Adolescent Program Science Lead Guide
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
– Nelson Mandela
How did you discover Montessori? I observed a Montessori school during my graduate program and was blown away. Soon after, I met my future partner whose mom is a Montessori educator, and my interest grew. I was attracted to the interdisciplinary lessons, the promotion of independence, and the belief that each human had the potential to contribute positively to the world.
Why do you love being a Montessori teacher? I love watching the confidence of my students grow as they take risks in this safe and nurturing environment, and begin to realize their full potential as a human being.
What about WSM attracted you to the school? The inviting outdoor environment, the beautiful facilities, and the fluidity between the two. I also love my colleagues, and the strong community of families that our school nurtures.
