Meet Mr. BJ Williams

“I have 20 + years of child care experience Birth through Adolescents. I also earned my BA from Berea College in 2006 with a degree in Child and Family Studies with a concentration in Child Development. I also have 15 years of youth programming experience. I love working with children and supporting their goals in all aspects of educations. To empower and encourage through purposeful activities and games is always the goal.”

Purposeful Activities

Mr. BJ collaborates with Guides to create purposeful physical activities. If a class community is encountering interpersonal conflicts, Mr. BJ will customize a teamwork game that inspires them to work together. As they build their physical health skills they also build their interpersonal skills.

Bike Week

At Winston-Salem Montessori School, we love our annual Bike Week tradition. Many students start the week with training wheels and end the week without them! By practicing with their peers, they are empowered to take their bicycle skills to the next level.
