How did you discover Montessori? I have known about the great work that Winston Salem Montessori has done with children for about 10 years. I was looking for the right time and opportunity to be a part of this special community.

Why do you love being a Montessori teacher? I love working with children and supporting their goals in all aspects of educations. To empower and encourage through purposeful activities and games is always the goal.

What about WSM attracted you to the school? What attracted me to WSM was the open concept classrooms, students have a choice in their education and daily learning.

What are your credentials?

20 + years of child care experience Birth through Adolescents.
BA from Berea College in 2006 with a degree in Child and Family Studies with a concentration in Child Development.
15 years of youth programming experience.
