How did you discover Montessori? I discovered Montessori first in an Intro to Education course in my undergraduate program. Around that same time, I worked in an environment adjacent to another local Montessori school, where I became curious to learn more about the materials and methods used in Montessori.

Why do you love being a Montessori Guide? I love being a Montessori Guide because I would have loved the Montessori classroom as a child. Getting to provide this environment for our students and building relationships with each child is the most fulfilling work.

What about WSM attracted you to the school? After working in several different childcare and school settings, I found that WSM aligned the most with my personal teaching philosophy, which concentrated in the constructivist paradigm with a child-centered approach to learning.
