Prospective Families Open House Schedule

Our Prospective Parent Open House are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 11:00.  If you are unable to attend one of these sessions please contact us to make a private appointment.

This first visit to our school is designed to give you an in-depth look at our program, facility and philosophy. We will start with a brief welcome and introductions, to be followed by a tour of the building. You will then be able to observe a classroom at work, sitting in on a Children's house or elementary classroom, depending on the age of your child. The children are used to visitors and welcome the opportunity for you to observe them at work. (Toddler classes can only be observed through the one-way windows, as visitors disrupt the routine of our youngest students.) With clipboard in hand, you may jot down any observations, comments or questions you have. We reconvene after your observation time to answer your questions and to further discuss the Montessori philosophy and more specifically, our program. A current parent will join us to lend their first-hand perspective to the discussion. Lastly, our elementary student ambassadors will present a material of their choice and answer any questions you may have for them.

These gatherings have proven to be a great way for families to learn about who we are as a school, and the environment and education we provide for our students and families. You are welcome to bring grandparents or friends with you, but due to the nature of the Open House, we understandably need this to be an adults only session. If, after reflecting on our program, you decide to submit an application for enrollment, we will move to the next step in the enrollment process and schedule a time for your child to visit a classroom.
