Annual Fund 2007-2008
Your Gift is Critical
The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of all fundraising at The Montessori School.
Each year, parents, alumni, grandparents and friends, show their collective
enthusiasm by contributing generously to this appeal, which offers direct
support to our annual operational needs. Tuition and fees rarely cover all
the expenses of independent schools. The Annual Fund helps make up the difference.
Annual gifts are tax deductible, while tuition is not. The goal for our
2007-2008 Annual Fund is $50,000. To meet this goal, every gift-- large
and small—is appreciated, critical and will be put to good use.
Your Gift at Work
A large portion of this year’s Annual Fund will be going towards
creating a state-of-the-art library and media center. This space will be
professionally designed to provide the children with a beautiful place
to read, research and relax. It will be another avenue through which the
children can explore the topics that interest them most: what dinosaurs
ate; what makes up a star; what people wore in the American Revolution;
how muscles grow strong.
You Can Make a Difference
Each year an ever-widening circle of parents, grandparents, alumni
families, faculty, staff and special friends make a difference in the
life of our school by contributing to the Annual Fund. You may want to
make you contribution in honor or in memory of a faculty member, student,
loved one, or staff member. These gifts are welcomed and are a particularly
meaningful way to benefit out entire school community. Complete your
Pledge Card today.
IT IS NOT THE SIZE OF THE GIFT THAT MATTERS; IT’S THE ACT OF GIVING
THAT IS MUCH MORE MEANINGFUL.
